You can change the names of the files, or you can change the .eng-file of the locomotive. To change the .eng-file, you have to open it with a text editing program (like Wordpad), and you have to look up the parts of the cabview and sounds. I think it's better to give an example:
Before changing:
Sound ( "xxxeng.sms" )
Sound ( "xxxcab.sms" )
CabView ( xxx.cvf )
After changing:
Sound ( "yyyeng.sms" )
Sound ( "yyycab.sms" )
CabView ( yyy.cvf )
You have to change xxx (I don't know what it is in your train now) in the names that the original files in your train have now. For after the change I use yyy. This line's aren't in the right order, but it isn't very hard to find them. The lines for cabviews and sounds are often somewhere lower in the .eng-file. It's possible that the files are aliased from other locomotives/trains. Many trains from this site have common cabview and sound files, so I give also an example:
Sound ( "..//..//GP38//SOUND//gp38cab.sms" )
Sound ( "..//..//GP38//SOUND//gp38eng.sms" )
CabView ( "..//..//GP38//CABVIEW//gp38.cvf" )
Now you can change the folder of the sound this train have to use. I hope that I am clear now, if not, you can find a manual from internet.
