and where 's bears? THE BEARS are coming from the exgaust of this badass machines!
p.s. in Russian train engieer's slang, "bear" means a huge plume coming from exgaust, like on the mentioned video clips.
It happens when the engineer advances notches too fast, or engine is overstressed, or bad turbine bearings leaking oil into tjhe exgaust. Sometimes oil ignites and we can see sort of "volcano eruption" with smoke and even flame. TE10 series machines with 2-stroke engine are especially infamous for this oil-fed fire, 'cause most of them are old, and oil leaks are very common failure.
