- "Now all RBR subscribers should now go to a XMAS sleep knowing that they have done all sorts of good for the RBR.
TS2009 is out and making news, will RBR support it .. will it be another dud? The jury is still out but so far even allowing for initial problems it looks a bit more promising than TRS2006 ended up being. Not purrfect but definitely a move in the right direction! Whether the crew at Auran decide story telling in the RBR method is to be supported, well we need to wait until in the new year when Auran management will once again chat with the code gooroo and try and resolve the little itchy niggles that stop Trainz from being all sweetness and light.
Well onto the main issue .. Invision is about to release IP.Board v3.0 it seems that the new forum software will be really nifty, given that we have a new Trainz and a new forum it seems to be time for a major housekeeping. As 'erbie said we have a lot of people using RBR and very few helping. Well if you are not a subscriber by the end of the year .. plan on losing your access, also plan on us being difficult, providing the service we do is not cheap, RBR aint about gouging all that we want is enough to pay the bills which run at over US$200 a month what we will do from no on is provide a few non-subscriber Activities but most will be for the people that keep the system running. Also, any none subscriber who has not logged in with 90 days of the end of the year will also be deleted.
As mentioned above TS2009 looks 'interesting' Tony Hilliam has agreed to discuss the RBR needs in January 2009 hopefully we can arrange for Trainz to be the driver world again, stay tuned! If Auran (ie Tony) can provide the resolution to the reasonably small issue list we have expect RBR to be TS2009 based .. it is only a 'yah let's do it' away.
