Purchased a used Armada 7770DMT that has had the hard drive erased and I am unable to access the cd-rom or the F10 utilitys, there is no floppy to boot from so I am unable to load an operating system.
What can I do to make the CD bootable? And is the F10 utilitys the same as the bios or is there an other key to access the bios?

I confirm the F10 utilities are the same as the BIOS.
The F10 utilities are stored on a hidden partition at the beginning of your HDD.
You can create the setup and diagnostics utilities from a set of diskettes you can make from :

Even if you don't have a Compaq utilities (aka BIOS) partition, you should be able to access the CD-ROM if this one is bootable
Check on another computer if your CD-ROM is bootable.

Вобщем надо или CD грузится или с дискетки, и оттуда запускать эти самые BIOS Utilities
