Russian museum trains (in MSTS)

I want to make Russian museum trains that are used sometimes for special trains. I want to make a museum version of every old train on this site that isn't in service any more (locomotives such as VL8, VL23, SSM, old diesel locomotives and steam locomotives). Who knows which numbers are preserved in museums and allowed to drive on the Russian railway network? And where can I find good pictures?

metroblog.ru is an good place to start, they have some nice pictures recently taken from an museum near an Bahnhof in Moscow ;)

I've been there several times, but I can go again.

Considering museum trains, what isn't running on rails gets sawed up sadly, unless an miracle happens, but even VL8's are running services regulary and working their tiristor's off in our vast country. But this is 100% sure, if you see any ER200, they are museum stuff, they were taken all out of service and placed in different few museums that run on volounteers and some local funding.

I thought VL8's aren't in use any more. If you were trying to speak Dutch, Bahnhof is the German word for station. In Dutch is a place where a train stops called a station to;)

But I see no pictures of museum trains on metroblog.ru. Do you know an other site with pictures of the `running` museum trains?

Thanks for the link, at that site are many good pictures, but I can't find pictures of museum versions of MSTS models from this site. But the steam locomotives from this site, are that preserved numbers and versions?

How exactly do you mean "preserved"?

I mean, or they are preserved in museums or not.
